Two authentication schemes are available:
– Internal
– External ((EduGAIN and Orcid)

In case of external authentication, no password is stored by the application.

If the user uses the internal authentication mechanism, an additional password is stored in encrypted form in the application.

Audience measurement cookies

Our site uses Matomo Piwik to help us analyse how users use the site by visit statistics and other characteristics. This helps us adapt and improve the site. Matomo places cookies on the device you are using for a maximum of 13 months. Matomo also collects the following data and only transmits this to our hosting service Sedoo/Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées:

  • anonymised IP address (format 192.168.xxx.xxx)
  • user location

These individual data are stored for 1 year. Internet users who do not wish to receive cookies can configure their browser so that they receive a warning each time cookies are sent, refuse cookies from certain websites or delete cookies from their browser.
